The waves were peaceful, that was good, for Julius' pitiful ship couldn't handle very choppy waves, and therefore was only good for short journeys. As his ship, "The Crimson Sparrow" docked, he couldn't help but notice, his ship wasn't the only thing that was shoddy. His supplies were limited to none, the alcohol was terrible, and he only had a few change of clothes. That was the problem with being broke.
Getting out of the ship, he decided that maybe some people would be more likely to join his crew if his ship and everything was more lavish, for what was a pirate without treasure?
Not sure what to do, he decided to travel to the Town Center to find a bulletin board of odd jobs or something. Hell he'd just ask random people on the street if he could do anything for them for money.... After thinking about how low he was steeping, he started to regret he wasn't a more... "traditional" pirate.

"And it was thhhiiiisss big!"
Sitting down on the bustling town centers fountain, Among-st the zealous merchants and watchful eyes of parents, Anne retold her 'adventures' as a marine to a group of rather energetic children. And by adventures she means all the wonderful, amazing, spectacular sights she'd seen since she joined the marines. Anne may not have been high up the ladder - nay, she was merely a chore boy - but the marines were lacking in man power at the moment and all available hands were being scrambled across the various stations. But better then that was a superior who was nice enough to give her frequent days off despite this!
...He did mention she had been helping to rise, what was it called? 'PR?' Was that it? Oh well. It let her have more time to do things like this.
Anne spread her arms out to emphasis the size of the sea king she'd witnessed while aboard a marine vessel. The kids awed at the size, somehow understanding in their own childish ways just 'how' big. "And it's scales were real pretty! Like a rainbow!"
"How pretty Annie?" Asked one of the smaller children, who'd developed an affectionate mispronunciation of her name.
Anne leaned in conspiring, as if she were delivering a secret to the children that was just for them. Glancing to the sides both times, she smiled at them. "Super pretty." The children coo'd in amazement.
